Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RepairWorkshop (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RepairWorkshop is a cloud-based point-of-sale and repair management platform for electronics repair businesses. The Service includes work order management, inventory tracking, CRM, point of sale, and reporting tools.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
5. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices are subject to change with 30 days' written notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
6. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We do not sell, share, or use your business data for any purpose other than providing the Service.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing, role-based access controls, and regular backups. However, no system is 100% secure.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (c) interfere with the proper operation of the Service; (d) reverse-engineer the Service.
9. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your data will remain accessible for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepairWorkshop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the judicial district of Quebec.
