RepairWorkshop is a product of Logiciels Cygsoft inc. ("we", "us"), a company incorporated in Quebec, Canada, with principal address at CP 1281, Sept-Îles (QC) G4R 4X7. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Loi 25).

1. Information We Collect

We collect: (a) Account information (name, email, phone, business name) provided during registration; (b) Usage data (pages visited, features used, device/browser info) for service improvement; (c) Business data you enter (clients, products, repairs, invoices) which is stored solely to provide the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) communicate about your account, updates, and support; (c) improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics; (d) comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: (a) service providers (hosting, email) who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations; (b) legal authorities when required by law or court order.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers in Canada. We use encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing (bcrypt), role-based access controls, and regular backups. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted. Backups are purged within 90 days of account deletion.

6. Your Rights (Loi 25)

Under Quebec law, you have the right to: (a) access your personal information; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) withdraw consent; (e) data portability (export). To exercise these rights, contact us at info@repairworkshop.ca.

7. Cookies

We use a language preference cookie (lang) and a consent cookie (rw_consent, kept for 13 months). With your explicit consent to the « Analytics » category, we also use Google Analytics 4 (cookies _ga, _ga_*, provider Google LLC, IP anonymized) and Microsoft Clarity (cookies _clck, _clsk, provider Microsoft Corporation) to measure site usage in an aggregated way. No advertising cookies are enabled by default. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the « Manage cookies » link at the bottom of the site.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
